Frequently Asked Questions

Questions we get a lot.

Can't find what you're looking for? Call us and ask directly — we'd rather answer it in thirty seconds than have you guess.

Pricing & payment

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes, for most jobs. Smaller diagnostic calls (tripping breaker, dead outlet) may have a trip fee that's waived if you move forward with the repair — we'll always tell you upfront before anyone comes out.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Card, check, and cash. We can also set up financing on larger jobs like panel upgrades or generators — ask when you call.

Is your work guaranteed?

Every job comes with a 1-year workmanship warranty. If something we installed isn't right, we come back and fix it.

Do you subcontract the work out?

No. Whoever shows up to your job is one of our own licensed electricians, not a subcontractor we dispatched.

Service & scheduling

Are you licensed, bonded and insured?

Yes. We're a licensed Texas electrical contractor, bonded and insured for both residential and light commercial work.

What areas do you serve?

We're based in Spring, TX and work throughout the greater Houston area, including Cypress, Houston, The Woodlands, Tomball and Klein. If you're outside that list, call anyway — we're often willing to travel for the right job.

Do you offer emergency or same-day service?

Yes, particularly for outage-related calls. Same-day availability depends on how full the schedule is that day, but we prioritize anything that sounds like a safety issue.

Do you work on both residential and commercial properties?

Yes, though residential is the bulk of what we do. We also take on light commercial work — office buildouts, retail spaces, and similar smaller-scale commercial jobs.

Permits & panel questions

Do I need a permit for my electrical work?

Depends on the job. Panel upgrades, new circuits, and generator installs typically require a permit and inspection — we handle that paperwork as part of the job so you're not left chasing it down yourself.

How do I know if I need a panel upgrade?

Common signs: breakers trip often, your panel still uses fuses or is over 20-25 years old, you're adding a big new load like an EV charger or hot tub, or a home inspector flagged it. We can take a look and tell you honestly whether you need one.
